:confused:I bought 2 sticks of 2gb ram a piece, making the 1 gb now 4 gb of ram.

How will this effect my machine running wise, how will it effect its speed and quality when recording music and such?

I have currently been recording on my 13' macbook w/ 1 gig, and everything seemed a bit limited.

It'll be faster, no more spinning beach balls :D

You should always check how much you are using RAM before buying, if it's over 70-80%, you should buy more.

It'll not change the world but less lag and waiting, and it's nice to have it maxed out.

but will it make the recording process any better? cause i know on my little macbook, i was very limited almost in what i could do sound wise, the volume would max out very fast, and i would have everything turn down really low...i figured this was because i was running logic pro on one gig of ram...lol

    any help there?

It should speed it up because it can store more files/information to RAM memory which is way more faster than HD
