I am getting mew DSL service from Qwest, and am going to use an Actiontec 1520 or 1524 wireless ready modem/router/gateway. It has a PC-card slot for adding a wireless 802.11b card.

Anyone have any experience with these? I want to ad the card, but not the Actiontec one for $50. I want to use a cheaper one, like from eBay or overstock store.

Thanks.

:)

I've got Qwest DSL, with the Actiontec wireless gateway. Works fine with the Netgear card I got to improve my TiBook's reception range at home.
And the combo and configuration have actually turned out to be quite convenient for my purposes: I use the Netgear card in the TiBook at home--but when TiBook comes to work, I pop the card out and into the Actiontec. Then power on the internal Airport card, which works great at my office, but just couldn't cut it at home.
