Good morning. Well, besides it's very hot and humid here in Detroit. Can't complain though, the snow will be here in a few more weeks I am sure.

Anyway, I made a secure disc image of 500mb using disc utility. Worked great until I checked the "lock" box located under the "get info" tab. I can no longer modify the image, add files, etc. The problem is the lock/unlock check box is no longer there!! I tested locking and unlocking other files and folders and it works fine. Any suggestions on getting my image unlocked?

Have a good day everyone. :):apple:

I'm not at a Mac to try this, but you may be able to unlock it using the chflags command. From Terminal,

Code:
chflags nouchg directory

Thank you for the replies. I was not successful with either suggestion. I was able to copy the files out and blow the image away and start a new one though. I'll be sure not to lock images anymore.
