What I am thinking about doing, and I need to think fast and order, is getting a screen temporarily until (or if) the acds are ever updated. But I would like to get one that doesn't go to waste when I do purchase two monitors for use side by side. So then I can use it for other purposes and not let it go to waste.
Right now I can't see myself getting two 23 inch ACDs only for them to get updated. I could live with getting one, maybe a refurb (how do you in fact go about getting a refurb?) for the time being, but the response rate still irks me.
Are there any other monitors that have similar color and photo capabilities that have a higher response rate as the acd? Would the "slow" response rate really be noticeable in WOW and mac's pro apps? What kind of issues would I notice?
By the way I am going to stick with the stock card and then maybe jump up when that new one comes out at the end of the month.
