What is the best book or website for new Mac users? I just switched over from my PC and need help understanding my new computer. This forum has already helped me out greatly, just looking for other sources to use as well.

from past experience just using the product and getting hands on worked the best for me. apple has a lot of guidance out there if you go to support.apple.com. If that doesn't help, dont be afraid to ask someone.

Well you've started off in one of the 'right places'. Some further hints:
    1. Google for 'Mac Newbie Help'
    2. http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/
    3. http://forums.macosxhints.com/

I've never been much of a book worm in respect of Macs and help therewith. I prefer to read the hands-on experience of other Mac users. Forum contributors are very helpful once they know your situation, so don't feel that you're asking questions that are too simple. No such thing.

In due course you'll work out which sites give you the help best suited to you.

David Pogue's book "switching to the Mac" was a big help for me.
