Well the 2013 will be better obviously. Are they both the same price as that would make a difference.

R RickRack macrumors newbie Jan 13, 2014 #6 I would think the 2013 would be the fastest... and since you are using it for video/music editing wouldn't faster be better? You can probably find MacWorld speedmark testing that would be helpful.
