Hi there all,

I have an Intel Macbook (2 years old-ish) running 10.5

Yesterday the keyboard and track pad stopped working... So I tried a shut down, but it would only Restart... and still no keyboard or track pad.

I finally got it to shutdown, don't know how, and i took the battery out for 10 mins or so, hoping that everything would be "reset".

Now it won't turn on at all! No life on the screen, no start up noises, nuttin'!

I have tried with and without the battery, holding down the power button for 10-30 secs etc...

There is life in the battery as there are 2 lights when I push the wee button on the battery. And a very faint green light on the power supply end that connects to the computer...

So kind of at a loss... anyone have this happen?

Thanks,

Could be the logic board.

Have you still warranty and are living near an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Reseller, that also does repairs?

certainly does not sound good. hope you bought apple care. if not, you might as well get a new macbook. id recommend one of the unibody macbooks or something with the sata 2, not 1, like in the newer ones.
