Need Advise for a Flash Drive

I have a Sandisk Cruzer and is ultra slow for upload... I'm looking for something faster. What would be a good flash drive?.. fast upload and download... 8 or 16gb

It might be USB 1.1. I've noticed very slow transfer times from those.

(Note that even a USB 1.1 drive is compatible with USB 2.0, so even if the drive has "USB 2.0" printed on it, it might not be a fast drive.)

I have this USB drive and must concur, its pretty quick for under 20$

There's a reason why SSD cost hundreds of dollars. Speed.

I think there are some pricy thumbdrives that has 20 to 30 MB/s write.
