Under the glass? That’s odd. I couldn’t get the smudges with my iPad camera. I made sure to get in better lighting this time around. This picture is completely different than what you first posted. It looks like the problem is under the glass.

No. I think over time they started to build up.Ah, those have been there since you got the phone? I have a few of those too xD
Different issue i guess. You use a car holder? Maybe vent type? No. I think over time they started to build up.
Nope. I mostly work from home and have my phone naked. Maybe that has something to do with it. I have a bad habit of laying my phone with the camera facing down.Different issue i guess. You use a car holder? Maybe vent type?
What are those made of? If you know...Here is the image with the smudges all around the camera glass. I can’t seem to get them removed.
i never had an issue even when using my phone naked...i doubt its because of not using a case...and dont most of us lay the phone with the camera down? -_-Nope. I would hope it’s not inside the lens but I can’t remove the smudges. It’s bothering me :/Maybe it’s inside the lens? That happened to my 7 plus before. I had apple change the phone within the 1yr warranty.
If it’s bothering you that much, take it to apple for a replacement.I would hope it’s not inside the lens but I can’t remove the smudges. It’s bothering me :/
How do you know its on the outside? Is there a film you can see that's bulging out?I would hope it’s not inside the lens but I can’t remove the smudges. It’s bothering me :/
I would do that but that I don’t want to play the lottery game. Especially since I have a good screen. I just find it so odd that those smudges won’t come off.If it’s bothering you that much, take it to apple for a replacement.
I’m starting to think the smudges are under the glass since I can’t remove them. I just want to know how they got there in the first place. How do you know its on the outside? Is there a film you can see that's bulging out?
If you have AppleCare+ you can request an express replacement. With express replacement, Apple will send you another replacement phone and would not need to send in your current phone before you received the replacement. When you receive the replacement, you can examine the replacement and if you don't like the replacement, keep your current phone and send back the replacement.I would do that but that I don’t want to play the lottery game. Who know it’s in there. i had that happen in my 7plus so return it. does it affect pictures.I’m starting to think the smudges are under the glass since I can’t remove them. I just want to know how they got there in the first place.
I was given a genius appointment but I’m going to reach out for an express replacement. If you have AppleCare+ you can request an express replacement. Turns out using the Lifeproof Next gives circles and colors kinda fade away too... ill post a pic soon when its cleaning timeCan you post a picture?
I’ve tried everything possible. I’ve determined that it’s under the glass. Apple believes my phone was probably not assembled properly. Going to the Apple store in a bit.Baby wipes
I'm not trying to be rude, but that's why my first question was if it was affecting your images,View attachment 1730239
Going to the Apple store accomplished nothing. Technician couldn’t see the residue and when I showed her a picture she considered it cosmetic. Which I understand but frankly if nothing was going to be done, I wouldn’t have left my apartment just to be told that…
I don’t use baby wipes but the technician did… oh well I guess.I'm not trying to be rude, but that's why my first question was if it was affecting your images,
still in not sure how they wouldn't be able to see it, but also don't try using "baby wipes" to clean it because those will actually leave behind a residue...
