Need application to organize and count images

Looking for a simple image viewing app that displays images in a grid and numbers the images while you are viewing them. This is for counting reasons only, for clients at photo studio, not to rename them (I already use Adobe Bridge for that).

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 🙂

Lightroom can do that. It can also build web galleries with numbers, plus the file number if you need to cross reference.
