Hi,

I have a iphone 3g, jailbroken, suddenly it got totally messed up!

It wont connect to my macbook nor my parents pc (it only uses the usb power, whitout power the phone is dead).

It wont reset (holding home+sleep) or enter dfu

The screen suddenly has weird lines in it and after pressing on/off button this is all I see:

Can it get any worse? Please help!

Thanks, elpe

That definitely sound like a hardware issue, maybe the battery shorted out and fried it. Take it to apple.

in my experience, jailbreaking has always added something funky to the power on screen. are you sure its not because of that?

Before i went to 4.2.1 my boot logo had a couple lines of garbage on it near the top, but worked perfectly otherwise. Unlike some people i don't care about the boot logo.

Naa it was always working perfectly but all of a sudden it got fkd, the power on screen is only like this now, it has never bin this way, and its getting worse

Out of warranty may cost you, but you never know. You may get a genius that will help you out. Just be honest and see what your options are. Not a big deal. The phones dead as it is right now, you can't lose anything.
