Need basic photo editing program for older Mac

Can anyone help with this? I have a PowerBook G4 that does NOT have an Intel processor. When my system was upgraded to 10.5.8, I lost my iPhoto program. Apparently, it cannot be replaced on this system. Anyway, all I need is a basic photo editing capability. All the software available seems to require the INTEL processor.🙄 Does anyone know of a freebie software I can download that will work on my PowerPc processor? I'd appreciate it!

Xee will do some basic photo editing.

Nope. Perhaps I should not have said, "basic". I need bit more capability than xee.

The Gimp for Mac might work for you. X11 has to be installed (it's on your OS X install disk). You might have installed it already.

maybe an older version of photoshop. Like photoshop 6 (some say CS4 runs on it too though).
