Before I got my iMac, I had a PC and used Picasa to download my iPhone pictures. Picasa would automatically put them into a dated folder, and erase the files from my iPhone. On my iMac, the Photos process automatically goes to iCloud, and syncs back to my iMac and my iPhone. I have two problems with this: 1) I now have 5000+ pictures on my iPhone. What's the best way to delete these? 2) The pictures and videos take a long time to sync. Sometimes a whole day. Even if I plug my phone into the mac, it doesn't sense that the pictures are directly connected, and just go through the wire. So I have to wait for iCloud to sync before I can manipulate and share the pics. Any suggestions to manually syncing and deleting pictures directly from my iPhone to my iMac?
