Someone would need to verify that. My iPad Pro does NOT fit in the iPad pocket of my North Face bag (not a big deal, I just put it outside that pocket). The iPP is quite a but larger than a normal iPad.

If I ever buy an iPad Pro, I'll be sure to check it out in my Osprey backpack and let people here know whether or not it fits. I know it is quite a bit larger than my iPad Air 2, but the space allotted for the iPad is rather roomy when my iPad Air 2 is in it. Definitely someone who were interested in this particular backpack should take their device with them to the store to try out what they want to put into it before making the purchase.

I really like the "Thule" bags (Swedish company): http://www.thule.com/en-us/us/products/bags-and-cases/daypacks-and-messengers

They are extremely well-built with water-resistant fabrics, fit a 15" MBP and iPad Air and with up to 32L a lot of other stuff. In addition they give limited lifetime warranty (at least 25 years). I don't own a IPP, thus I don't know if it fits. Maybe someone else here knows or you just write an e-mail to the company and ask them.

I got this bag: http://www.thule.com/en-us/us/produ.../thule-crossover-32l-daypack-_-tl_85854231381

They are expensive but I never had a better bag and I wouldn't trade it for any other. Ever.
Hope this helps!

i'm surprised no one's suggested Booq

whileI do not have a Booq I've heard good things about them.

Bottom line is to invest in a quality bag that will last you for years. It'll be less expensive in the long run and you don't have to worry about it breaking on you at a critical time.

Like my dad used to say "If you're a 5 cent mechanic buy 5 cent tools..."

I use a Northface Backpack similar to this: https://www.thenorthface.com/shop/equipment-backpacks-laptops/router-?variationId=C1E

I carry a 15" MBP and iPP, with books, snacks, drinks... hour commute each way to school (bus and train). Wouldn't trade it for the world.
That looks nice.
I mean at any given time I have:
iPhone/iPad/MacBook charger
At least 1 textbook
Notebook to have paper for quick notes
Drink, snacks
iPad pro with keyboard case so it's almost the size of a fricken laptop
And my MacBook
The book bag I have no I thought would be fine but it's way too small

I bought an iPad Pro 12.9" a couple of days ago -- just remembered this thread and quickly tested to see if it would fit into the iPad compartment of the Osprey Pixel Port backpack -- and, no, it's just a wee bit too wide to slip in there. The iPad Pro 9.7" will fit, of course, as it is the size the compartment was designed for anyway. One could slip the iPad Pro 12.9" into either the center compartment or the compartment meant for the 13" rMBP, though -- fits in there very nicely.

Yeah I really woul'd like to find one that I could get the iPad to fit in the compartment itself, which I don't believe will happen
