Well, just wanted to update as to what happened.
Apparently I've been driving my family and gf to the brink of insanity with contemplating my ability to build a Core i7 Hackintosh and overclock the 920 to 3.8Ghz.... Therefore, through a stroke of fortunate events... my gf and sister drove me to the mall to purchase a few things and went into the Apple Store. They discussed the benefits of purchasing a real Mac and the Apple Specialist informed me of Applecare warranty for a 24" LED Cinema Display and Mac Pro to only cost $199 for both!
Long story short... I was hooked with the deals and the benefits and outweighed the many days I would have spent figuring out what kext files to include. I walked out smiling with a LED Cinema Display, 2X2.26 MP, and a printer..... plus a $4,300 debt. But....I'm set for the next couple of years.
Now to get rid of that iMac that faithfully served me well...
