Have to use Safari for the moment although I haven't ever been fond of it.

I have one main issue with it that I don't know how to fix so am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have looked and looked and cant seem to find the fix although I know that it is likely right in front of me.

At least half of the time when I click on a page, instead o the full page it snaps into this position, as shown with my screenshot. The page I would like to see is below it. (apologize if the shots are too large)

It can't be due to an ad block software for it happens only on half the pages. Sometimes I will land on the url and its fine for a second but then snaps into the position I dont like.

Phew! I think that was it. I never would have noticed that. It was on for one page in particular that I use often and then at the bottom On for all other pages.

What an annoying feature. Thank you for your help!!!

One last problem I have noticed. Often when reading forums with posts, the very first post in a thread is blank. I have to hit reply on that post, as if I were going to respond, just to read what the OP has posted.

If that feature was enabled, then unchecking the box should resolve the issue. I only knew about this because I use that feature on some websites.. it is sometimes the only way to get just the article and not the tons of garbage that many websites stuff into webpages these days.

I don't really know where to begin with the blank post issue. But, please post back here when it is resolve.. it may help someone else suffering the same issue.

Will do.

You make a good point however, about enabling it for certain websites so I will revisit that option for particular ones I have in mind and see how it works.

When you find a website that you want to use the Reader View on all the time, go up to the URL bar and long-press the Reader View icon at the left of the bar. That should give you some options and you can enable it there instead of opening the Preferences window.

The missing first post was a lesser issue but now that you helped fix the first one, I quickly fixed the missing post.

Turns out it was a uBlock filter. I must have inadvertently added it at some point. Thanks again!
