Need HandBrake equivalent for PC.

I know that you can get HandBrake for PC, but it doesn't rip CSS-protected DVDs. Is there a free alternative for PC which can, that is of similar quality to HandBrake?

I've looked around for other solutions as well but did not come up with anything for my XP machine. Disappointing that the windows version cannot deal with encryption.

If it makes you feel any better, the Mac version no longer does (natively) either.

.9.3 -- requires VLC to be installed in /Applications to decrypt DVDs. It is part of the announcement for the program.

Even though I have VLC, I'll be sticking with my .9.2 Handbrake.

I use MagicDVDRipper. It works fine for me.

you can always purchase, AnyDVD which decrypts any dvd that is inserted in the drive, then use handbrake to rip it with no problems
