Need Help buying from the App Store

Hello,

I don't know if this is the right place for this in the forum... I have been searching in Google for this and nothing. I was going to buy an App from the app store and redeem two gift cards for $15 each card. The app costs $29.99. Now when I click buy it won't let me buy it because I don't have sufficient balance...

How can I fix this?... What I'm doing wrong?

Did you enter and redeem both $15 cards? If so, your balance should say $30 and it would let you "buy" the app... unless you owe Apple for previous purchases.

Duff-Man says…yeah, it sounds from your post that have not yet redeemed the gift cards - you need to do that first. The credit from those just sits in your account until you use it, like you want to do now… Whenever I have a card I enter the code right away as there is no need to wait, and it can come unhandy if I want to buy something on my phone while out and about for some reason....oh yeah!

Yes.. I redeemed the cards and the balance says $30

Have you tried logging out of your iTunes account and then logging back in?

I just added a $15 gift card and now I manage to download the app...

Tax is added to the purchase price so the app will ultimately cost a little more than $29.99.
