Need help choosing a mbp

Hi there

Yesterday while i was at school, my dog went on my desk and dropped a glass of water on my MacBook.

Long story short, i need a new mbp.

I had a 2.53 late 2008 15" with a 9600m GT (512mb) and i wonder if the new low end 15" would be more powerfull? i would like to play civ 5 and if possible, battlefield 3...

Don't needless bump your threads, if you've received no answer, then nobody has one, be patient.

With that said, the new MBP is leaps and bound more powerful than what you had(roughly 3 to 4 times more powerful in raw processing power). I'm pretty sure the low end ATI card is more powerful than the 9600gt(which is a rebranded 8600gt with a slightly higher clock speed).
