Need Help Choosing a new MacBook

Hi, I am a college student that currently has a 2010 air and looking into getting a new macbook. I will be looking into using it for school work, email web browsing, torrent downloads. But I am interested into getting in CS6 and FCP X for a hobby at the moment. I have been looking into the retina and air models but don't know what will suite my needs. I do like the retina display bc it's just amazing to look at.

For FCPX you will definitely want a quad-core i7 processor. This means the 15" MBP (retina or not, if the cost is too scary).
