Yes but they are a classic!

And I haven't been able to get a picture with either style on.. I think I might go with the plain Aviators.

Serengetis are great:

(those last ones have a bit of that Paul Bonhomme look)

Those might be a bit better for you, and less traditional aviator which is now done to death. ;)

Don't get polarised ones if you need to look at aircraft displays.

I have the Ray Ban 'Cockpit' style aviator on the page of traditional aviators that you linked. They're an updated aviator style--a bit smaller, less 'droop' down towards your cheek, but rounded off rather than squared off like the caravan style. The traditional Ray Ban aviators make me look ridiculous, but these are a much better look, at least on my face. Polarized is totally worth it in my opinion, particularly when boating and driving.

+1 to whoever said it depends on your face.

Nothing more awkward looking than a baby faced teen with a rotund face wearing mirrored aviators.

To be honest, aviators look bad ass on people with square faces and high cheek bones. But there are glasses that work for everyone. Rayban Wayfarers are in and those are pretty cool.

Thanks guys!

Still deciding between black or gold. Black is safe and modern but the gold looks like it would stand out more and not make my face darker than it is already.

Oh and sorry, I'm usually not this obsessive. I've been stuck at home for the past two weeks with a stitched up mouth and couldn't find anything better to do. *sigh*

Definitely gold. It wouldn't work on some people, but you're Asian, and you have black hair, and you wouldn't look good in black sunglasses. I think black is less safe than gold, in your case.
