miss.manson macrumors 6502a Original poster Aug 19, 2012 #1 I've looked everywhere and cannot find any help on how to downgrade from Mountain Lion to Snow Leopard. I have the original install discs for Snow leopard and I have Time Machine back ups. How can I go about doing this? Thanks in advanced.😱

Hellhammer Moderator emeritus Aug 19, 2012 #2 Boot from the SL disc and use Disk Utility to format the drive. Then you can proceed to install SL

No. Install from your bootable Snow Leopard disk. 1.) Put in the CD, reboot and hold the option key. Select the CD icon and install OSX. 2.) Then start "migration assistant". Follow the instructions to restore files from your Snow Leopard Time Machine backup.
