The radeon card in my girlfriend's macbook pro kicked the bucket a few months ago and I finally have the time to start looking for parts to fix it.

Anyone know where I can find a working replacement logic board for a reasonable price? I'm not thrilled about spending $600-700 to fix a 4-5 year old computer, maybe at most I'll be willing to spend towards $500 for a brand new one shipped. I checked eBay and all I could really find were nonworking or used and more expensive than new.
It's a 2006 core duo 2.16ghz, 17" A1151 - I don't think there is anything else you really need to know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

edit: I'm coming across a ton of Core 2 Duo logic boards for the 17" that are supposedly working and under $300. I'm assuming these have the bad 8600M GT card thought. Anyway, would a Core 2 Duo logic board work in an A1151? Would the display and topcase work with this logic board and are the screw locations the same? They seem to have the same, if not very similar, form.
