So this little area (circled) fell apart when I popped off the connector to the screen. Is there a way to just order a new part for this?

(Serious answer though: I'd take it to one of the many iPhone repair shops and purchase that part from one of them. Could end up being super inexpensive and an easy fix.)

You could also consider buying a broken phone or Facebook and using it as a donor phone?

The part you need is an LCD FPC connector, however you'd need to know about microsoldering and have specialist equipment to carry out the repair. There are definitely plenty of phone repair shops out there that can carry out this repair, and for significantly less than the cost of replacing the device or buying a donor phone. Don't listen to people saying it can't be fixed!

Im seeing some phones that have broken screens for cheap, I might just buy one and throw my screen on it.
