Need help importing iPhoto Library into Photos - Error 1,114

Just updated my Late 2013 13" MBP to El Capitan 10.11.1, and I'm not able to import my iPhoto library from iPhoto 9.x I was running on Mavericks. I'm holding option and selecting the iPhoto Library (already copied from an external to local Mac HD) and I get an unexpected error at 15% - Error 1114. I no longer have iPhoto so what are my options for getting this library into Photos?
 
Ended up getting a Photo Fixer App from App store and removing some duplicates. Then I spent another 30 mins finding those it missed. Then it seemed to work itself out.
