need help in numbers

hi,

i am trying to figure a way to notify me when i forget to enter data in specific cells, that need to be filled in.

i included a screen shot.

what i want it to show is basically fill in the whole row in red or another color
when i forgot to input data.

is there a formula?

May be what you are looking for

My Numbers version is in french but if you look under "Format" you should find something like "Show the conditionnal format rules"

You can apply specific formats to cells to which the rules you define apply.

Best thing I can think of to help out, without using AppleScript, is under those conditions that MiBerb said, you can have it fill in the cell with something you want.

I recommend having it filled with "#MISSINGDATA".
