I have a 2.16 ghz macbook with a gig of ram and 160 gig hard drive. It originally came with tiger installed but I want to install leopard. I have leopard discs that came with my mac mini and whenever i put them in and choose to install it and restart i get to the language select screen and after that it says the system can not be installed on this computer. Anyone have any idea why it wouldn't be compatible?

I don't think you can use the disc's that came with Mac mini on another Mac you would have to buy a retail version of Leopard.
