Need help Microsoft Remote Desktop

Hello,
Trying to use Microsoft Remote Desktop on our new iMac 10.10.3 and it doesn't seem to work. We used to use it on our old iMac. Wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Getting message "Unable to connect to remote PC please provide the fully qualified name or the IP address of the remote PC and try again."

We have all that info correct.

sounds like a firewall issue. maybe add the app as trusted on both computers.

We have all that info correct.

If the PC you're trying to connect uses a port other than the default (ie; Windows default is 3389) make sure you add the port to the firewall on the PC you're connecting to. Also, make sure you have that port set on your router.
