I'm anxiously awaiting my copy of Tiger to arrive and I'm ready to start preparing for the upgrade. I'd like to do a clean install, but would like to transfer over a few things like preferences, safari bookmarks, etc. and would like to know the best procedure.
I have an external drive to backup everyting to so I'll make a bootable clone before I do anything else.
I'm going to reinstall all of my applications from the original media, but how do I keep all of my application preferences, safari bookmarks, and old mail. That is the only thing I can think of that I would like to keep. Of course I can use my cloned drive to copy back over my pics, iTunes music, docs, etc.
