iMac @ 1 year old
OSX 10.6.7
3.2 Ghz, i3 processor, 4GB memory
Safari v5.0.5

Comcast ISP

New Motorola Surfboard SB6121 Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem (plugged to Internet and Linksys) and a Linksys E4200 Wireless N router.

Both my iMac and a work laptop (Win XP) are Ethernet hardwired to the Linksys, also have a few wireless devices (Wii and AppleTV)

Occassionally I will open my iMacs Safari browser and it will not connect to the internet. Have to reboot the iMac and all will be well again. At this same time - my other devices continue to work fine, connect to internet with no problems.

Where do I start troubleshooting?
Is there an iMac app where I can get more details when my browser cannot connect to the internet?
