iPod Need help taking songs off iPod and adding them to iTunes

I had to get my hard drive replaced on my mbp today and I am needing to know how to transfer all the songs back to my computer from my iPod touch? I backed up everything on my computer other then my iTunes.

There's freeware called iPoddisk (google it) that makes your iPod behave as a hard drive, allowing you to take files straight off.
