I really need to transfer my iTunes library from my pc to my new MBP, i really want to keep all of my album art, can someone please tell me how, or post a link, I would be really greatfull!! Thanks
If you own an iPod, download Senuti and transfer the music from your iPod to your new Mac. If you don't, use an external hard drive to transfer your music (warning, you will NOT transfer your ratings, play counts, and last played)

I believe if your itunes folder is automatically organized and you copy the songs from those organized folders, when you put them on your mac itunes will just download the missing artwork and it will be fine.
Is there really now way to maintain all your ratings etc between Windows ITunes and Mac Itunes? What about if you do the backup procedure on the Win machine then restore onto the Mac?
Yes there is a way, I did it earlier this year between a powerbook and a windows laptop. Basically what I did was export my entire library to another directory (by changing the iTunes music folder location in the Advanced preference, then exporting I think). And then importing from iTunes on the other machine, while making sure the option to have iTunes organize the songs was checked. There was an apple doc that explains this a lot easier than I think I am now, but in any case the point is it is possible.
Don't use this as a reference, this is just from memory. I suggest you try and find that apple doc.
