My MacBook pro had cider spilt on it and the ram was destroyed inside the laptop but the hard drive is still intact. Now that the ram has gone the computer won't even boot, screen won't turn on and all it does is beep around every 5 seconds so I decided to buy MacBook air. I want to transfer all the contents of my old MacBook to my new one but cannot boot my old one into target disk mode as the laptop won't even turn on. Any other way to transfer the files?! Please reply asap!

Put your MacBook Pro hard drive in a USB 3.0 external hard drive enclosure and plug it into the new MacBook Air and transfer the files.
