    Hi,

Could you please help me on this? I am using software update and then it can see that I have 3 items that I could download and install:

    iTunes 8.0.2
    QuickTime H.264 Compatibility Update 7.5.5
Java for Mc OS 10.5 Update 2

But when I click on the download and install, the license software agreement will be displayed then after I clicked on the agree button, I got this error message even though I have a good DSL connection. I am even browsing the net while doing the update so how come it is saying I am not connected to the internet:

"The update iTunes can't be installed. A networking error has occurred: timed out (-1001). Make sure you can connect to the internet, then try again."

I did this dozen times daily with no luck. Can someone help me?

    Thanks a lot!

You could always try removing iTunes and then reinstalling the latest version from Apple's site. You shouldnt loose any of your music/videos..
