I was on my Dad's MacBook Pro and I changed his home folder name to his name. Then when I restarted the computer it gave us quite a panic when everything was changed. (Like I created a new user). All of his files are under another user file. I can't figure out how to restor everything back to that user file.
So I have a home folder back to its orginal name. All his files and documents are under a seperate user folder, and I want to restore everything thing to that file. I hope this is clear enough. I need any help that I can get. Thanks.

Check out this MacRumors Guide: Renamed User Folder.

It should have everything you need to know, but if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. :)
