I want to use mac-on-mac to run OS 9.2.2, but haven't had much success with the following method:

I made a blank dmg, which I then put my classic system folder in, and told mac-on-mac to boot from it.

It then opens the VM, but only displays a floppy with a question mark on it, so presumably the OS 9.2.2 in classic is made to be not bootable, but is there a way I can get it too?

Any help would be appreciated.

WTF is Mac-on-Mac? Please give a link to it and more people can help you. As far as I know, you cannot boot from an image and usually, you can't just drag a system folder over and have it automatically be bootable.
