Okay, so im trying to unlock my iphone.

My iBoot is 596.24.... is this good or bad? I cant seem to find which are the new bootroms and which are the old.

Also, i thought bootrom numbers were like 05.08, 06.02...

I downloaded fuzzybear on cydia, and it said my bootloader was 06.02. But 596.24 is what i get when i go into DFU mode.

Im probably just making a mess out of all of this, but i dont really underestand it! I would appreciate it if someone could explain! Thanks! :)

What baseband (modem firmware) version do you have? 4.26.x is the best to be unlocked, 5.11.x can be, but with some minor issues from blacksn0w. If it's 5.12.x you are out of luck. You find this on Settings-->General-->About on your iPhone.
