I got a free powerbook G3 with a broken screen, while I was working on taking the screen off to replace it, it requires the processor to be removed, so as I was removing it a heatsink popped off. Now when I attempt to boot it up, it makes the startup chime, and then makes a crashing sound and shuts off. I am assuming that it is just overheating due to the missing heatsink and shutting off, so is how are the heatsinks held on on those processors, is it just with thermal paste? could someone please tell me how to put it back on, and if you have one sitting somewhere could you please take a pic of the bottom of the processor, so I can see exactally where it is supposed to go on.

    it is a wallstreet 266Mhz and a 14.1" screen.

Well I figured out where the heatsink went, and got it back on, but now it wont even start to boot up, did I accidentally mess up the processor when I was trying to fix it? and if I did, where can I get a new one preferably cheap.
