Hi there. I've just bought a small HD video camera for my aeriel Photography and I'm just wanting to make sure it works!

When I record a video clip and then try and play it on my iMac from the SC card, the QuicktimePro window comes up and the curser underneath shows it playing but theres a black screen.

I obviously need to download some software but have no idea what one and I don't really want to be downloading loads of different 3rd party software until I find out which one works...

HEeeelp? 😀

Cheers

Try VLC. It works with some of the strangest formats...though one would think an HD camcorder wouldn't have too strange of a format...

I just installed flip mino software, and had a bit of a snag.

I would be sure that the software for the camera (if included) installed properly, and then, go to the web site to check for updates. Also, check the site for issues with Mac

Good luck
