Need help with iCloud I'd change on iPad

When I updated my iPad to iOS 5 I made a mistake when typing my apple id on my iPad. Now it won't do a backup. If I go into setting, iCloud, it won't let me change the apple id (it is shaded gray). Can someone help me please!

I just need to change one letter!

Delete the iCloud account and re-add. You delete it from the bottom of iCloud settings.
