Is there any way to remove the contact suggestions on iMessage on my mac? I deleted the contact from both my phone and mac (in contacts app) but whenever i start a new message and begin typing a name on my mac it still shows the deleted contact and all the previous ones that I deleted? For example "Zeigler Peter" has multiple numbers under that name but only one is correct. I want the other one (and other deleted contacts) to stop showing up

I already tried looking but most articles show how to do it on the phone but that's not an issue, only on the mac.

Do you have any previous conversations on your devices? (iMessage conversations)

If you do, try to delete them.

No I do not, and I do not have these contacts in my app on my mac or phone. I checked my iCloud and they're not in there either. So they're stored somewhere I just don't know where.

I have the same issue. Some of my deleted contacts appear and some do not. On the iPhone, we do have the option of deleting recents, there has to be a way to do it on the Mac, as well.
