Hi, I'm running Windows and am about to purchase the iPod Video. I'm trying to add videos to iTunes before I receive it for Christmas, but I'm having problems. It won't allow me to import videos, when I select a folder or file, it just never opens or nothing happens. I'm unable to drag files into my library that are of video type. I'm asking this because one of my friends is having the same problem. We both can't view videos in iTunes either and we have Quicktime.

what type of videos are you trying to add to itunes? note that they must be in mp4 format. if you have quicktime, is it quicktime pro? with quicktime pro, you can convert videos to the file type that itunes will recognize and that will play on the video ipod...

ipod cannot play all types of movies... although itunes can support them they may not be able to go onto your ipd... some vid files itunes doestn support at all... what you need is a converter.. http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/
downlaod the videora converter for ipod... and it will make it so that files work in itunes for sure and ipod for sure... so that should do it.. if not hardware problem...
