The first one is my rough sketch of my logo second picture has my font already on it. I am having trouble making it look exactly like this. Can anyone help me out with this? I can get the half circle done but thats about it.

You need to make the grid pattern and the triangular shape separately.

Make the grid using some squares the the Align tools.

Make the triangle by drawing a 3 sided polygon and a circle, and using Pathfinder to subtract the circle from the polygon.

Then using a Clipping Mask to clip the grid to the new triangle.

Or go to Fiverr and pay some dude 5 bucks to do it for you.

Well for starters, what programs are you using? I would highly suggest Illustrator to match it exactly and then using basic shapes and your Pathfinder to cut and separate.
