I have a Macbook Pro and an iPhone 6s+ and had my Mac set up for messaging. I'm on the OS X El Capitan and everything was working great until my son could read all my text messages on my Mac, so I went into Messages preferences and disabled by unchecking the box under my Apple Id. Today I decided to enable it and checked the box to enable. I can receive texts and photos from my iPhone, but when I try to drag and drop a photo in messages to send to my iPhone 6, I get an error message that the recipient of this conversation does not accept file transfers. It worked fine before. I want to be able to transfer photo's and files to my iPhone. Can someone give me a solution to this problem? Thanks

Hello - I have the same problem and cannot seem to figure out the solution. I recently disabled and then enabled my account on my mac iMessages, similar to your situation. How were you able to fix the issue?

I look forward to hearing your response! Thank you.
