Need help with Pages

I am trying to transfer files from my PC to pages within the ipad. The web says to use file sharing in itunes then "the import button in my documents view accesses the files to transfer to ipad". Completely lost here, can anyone help?

On the Apps tab in iTunes, scroll down past where you pick/rearrange them, there is a whole other section. I missed it for a long time myself!

If it isn't there, then there is an issue. It pops up once you have an app that supports it installed.

You can do that or just email your document to yourself and in the Mail app on your iPad have the attachment open in Pages. I do this quite often rather than going through the sync routine. Plus it gives you a back up of your document in Mail.
