I just bought a g4 imac on ebay and I am trying to install leopard but the problem is, is that its is asking for a password when i want to restart to install 10.5 and also when I want to install certain apps, how can i bypass this?

First you need to restart via the installation disc, by pressing the "C" key down while restarting, In the installation before you select the language, on the menu bar click on Utilities, from the Password Reset app, you can select your own password, another way of booting to the installation disc is by holding the option key down as it restarts or the Fn+option keys down. Once you reset the password then you can choose a clean install or a basic install. if you go straight through the clean install then you dont need to reset the password, in the welcome video you will be prompted to make an account and have your own shortname and password.
