Need help with SFTP

I am currently using FUGU to connect to my webhost. I works fine, except that my wireless Internet connection is not working anymore after I connect to the remote host. I have to shut down my airport and restart it. That in turn kills the connection to the remote host via FUGU.

Please help, what is wrong. Do I have to configure the Airport in any way?🙁
