Alright so my Ipad wifi 64gb is jailbroken on 4.3.3 of course and I want to enable ftp or sftp not sure what the difference is exactly. I've done this before with my jailbroken ps3 so I have experience.

1) Got OpenSSh as instructed on homepage of cydia.

2) I find my IP through SB settings or just the wifi page in the stock settings,

3) Open filezilla, type the IP into 'host', as well as the password 'alpine'

This doesn't work for some reason, I checked everything 3 times,

also tried putting root as my username this doesn't work.

I also tried using winscp.

HELP :(

You can get your ip through settings. Reboot your iPad.

1 Make sure you are on the same wifi network as your computer.
2. ip for host
3. root for user
4. alpine for password
5 select sFTP

That should be all you need.

You will want to change the password from alpine to something else or you'll get a virus as the Rick roll one. Happened to me on my iPhone and you cannot fix it unless you restore your device!
