Need Help With System Preferences

Hvery time i log out of my Admin account or shut down the MacBook, the system preference changes that I have made get reset. Can someone please help me find a way to save them, or know how to fix this issue .

Make the changes then click the little lock icon in the bottom left corner of your preferences pane.
