Need Help

I Have
Nothing install in my BookAir and each time
I want install the leopard I did one partition but each time I try to install the soft. I have "You can't install this Soft. on this computer" ???
Any body please tell me WHY?

Are you using install CD's from another type of Mac? You can only use a Retail Leopard disk, or the disks that come with the Air.

Are you using the Leopard disk that came with the machine? That message is usually displayed when you use the restore disks from a different machine which won't work as restore disks are locked to the exact type of computer they ship with...

How many discs are there? What does it/do they say on the label(s)?

The disc(s) came with the computer... did you buy the computer new or second-hand?

Yeah the only time that occurs if you are using wrong disks for the system... you must be doing that.

You have a MacBook Air, not a MacBook. Where did you get your computer?

Sounds like a used MBA, with the wrong Install Discs. Give AppleCare a call and they should be able to send you the correct discs for about $17 plus shipping (which will take about 2-3 days max)...😱
